Práce odpovídá na tři otázky: 1) Co dělá portské víno výjimečné? 2) Jaké události ho ovlivnili? 3) Kde je oblíbené? Bude představena oblast produkce, jeho výroba a nejznámější druhy: Branco, Ruby, Tawny a Vintage. K zodpovězení druhé otázky nám pomůže celkové zmapování historie portského vína. Třetí část práce se soustředí na jeho prodej. Podíváme se na porovnání exportu portského vína s celkovou roční produkcí v období 2010 až 2019. Zjistíme, kdo je jeho největším odběratelem a kde je zkoumaný produkt nejpopulárnější.. -- Abstract: The topic of the bachelor thesis is port wine: its past and present. The thesis gives answers to the three questions: 1) What makes port wine exceptional? 2) Which events affected it? 3) Where is it popular? It is presented: area, manufacture and the most famous types (Branco, Ruby, Tawny and Vintage). To answer the second question the history of the port wine is presented. The third part of the thesis focuses on its market. We will have a look at a comparison of port wine exports with the total annual production in the period 2010 to 2019. We will find out who is its largest customer and where the researched product is the most popular.
