Jednalo se o prostředí terapeutické komunity, vztahy s podpůrnými osobami, vztah s terapeutickým týmem komunity, silnou motivaci k pobytu v terapeutické komunitě a komunitu jako místo "poslední šance na záchranu".The aim of the research was to describe the subjective experiences of clients with BPO with the perception of experienced changes in therapy during long-term treatment in the Kaleidoskop therapeutic community. Research questions were: How do people with BPO perceive the changes in therapy experienced during treatment in the Kaleidoskop therapeutic community? What other factors contributed to the change in therapy? The qualitative approach and IPA method were used. The sample consisted of 2 women, current or former clients of the Kaleidoskop therapeutic community with a diagnosis of BPO. Data were obtained by analyzing written narrative reports and analyzed based on descriptive and conceptual notes. There were interpreted both individual cases and shared themes. Participants defined several areas that underwent change during long-term therapy - emotions, relationship to oneself, relationships with others, relationship to the body and self-harm and relations to family members. Other important factors that contributed to the change in therapy were identified - environment of the therapeutic community itself, the relationships with peers and close family members, the relationship with the therapeutic team of the community, the strong motivation to treat themselves in the therapeutic community and the community as a place of "last chance to save".
