In Kierkegaard's philosophy, the movement from one stage to the next requires an alteration, a change, or a transformation that a person needs to undergo; a better name for this process of transformation is "metamorphosis." The aim of this work is to show how metamorphosis and its implications connect various themes (such as irony, responsibility, paradox, love, faith, and reason) in Kierkegaard's philosophy; mainly, we will explore these themes in the ethical stage where metamorphosis plays a crucial role.In Kierkegaard's philosophy, the movement from one stage to the next requires an alteration, a change, or a transformation that a person needs to undergo; a better name for this process of transformation is "metamorphosis."
