Tématem práce je vliv slovenských a českých choreografů na tanec v Nizozemsku. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak ovlivnili čeští a slovenští tanečníci a choreografové vývoj tance v Nizozemsku. Část práce je zaměřena na významného českého choreografa a tanečníka Jiřího Kyliána, který je jedním ze zakladatelů jedné z největších tanečních instituci v Nizozemsku, tzv. Nederlands Dans Theater. V práci jsou popsáni i další choreografové ze Slovenska a Česka, kteří více či méně ovlivnili nizozemskou taneční scénu, a jejich přínos pro Nizozemsko.The theme of this work is the influence of Slovak and Czech choreographers on dance in the Netherlands. The aim of this work is to find out how Czech and Slovak dancers and choreographers have influenced dance development in the Netherlands. Part of the work is focused on the significant Czech choreographer and dancer Jiří Kylián, who is one of the founders of one of the largest dance institutions in the Netherlands, Nederlands Dans Theater. I also mention other choreographers from Slovakia and the Czech Republic who have more or less influenced the dance in the Netherlands and their contribution to the Netherlands are described in the work.
