Práce představuje případovou studii vztahu Evropské unie a Ukrajiny po rozpadu Sovětské svazu, tj. po roce 1991. Cílem práce je identifikovat a analyzovat hlavní aspekty vztahu mezi Evropskou unií a Ukrajinou a faktory charakterizující jejich spolupráci. Sekundárním cílem práce je objasnit fáze spolupráce, přičemž práce vyvrcholí analýzou krizového období v souvislosti s odmítnutím Asociační dohody na přelomu let 2013/2014.The work presents a case study of the relationship European union and Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union, after 1991. The aim is to identify and analyze the main aspects of the relationship between European union and Ukraine and factors characterizing their cooperation. A secondary aim is to clarify the phase of cooperation, while the work will culminate analyze of the crisis period in connection with the refusal of the Association Agreement at the turn of the year 2013/2014.
