Na základě užitých pramenů, jako je korespondence dvořanů, či jejich paměti jsou sledovány oblasti každodenního života francouzské vysoké šlechty druhé poloviny sedmnáctého století a počátku století osmnáctého. Práce se zaměřuje na dobové hodnocení nejen krále a jeho bratra, ale zabývá se i ožehavým tématem své doby a to královskými levobočky a jejich postavením u dvora.The discourse deals with the life of noblesse by the Court of Louis XIV. Author works with sources like are correspondence and memoirs of the courtiers. Text of the thesis concerned the topic of the everyday life of the nobility during the second half of the seventeen century and the first half of the eighteen century. In the work can be found the contemporary evaluation of the Sun king or his brother, but is occupied also with the question of Sun king's bastards and their position among the French nobility.
