Diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou platobného styku v rámci Českej republiky, ale aj na medzinárodnej úrovni. Platobný styk je peňažný vzťah medzi platcom a príjemcom, ktorý je uskutočňovaný v určitých formách dohodnutými platobnými inštrumentmi buď priamo medzi nimi alebo prostredníctvom k tomu určených subjektov. Podľa spôsobu platenia ho môžeme ho rozdeliť na hotovostný a bezhotovostný. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Prvá kapitola je venovaná základnými pojmom platobného styku. V druhej kapitole sa zaoberám bezhotovostným platobným stykom a jeho delením. V tretej kapitole zas rozoberám hotovostný platobný styk, jeho právnej úprave a problematiku bankoviek a mincí. Štvrtá kapitola je venovaná platobným systémom v Českej republike a Európskej únii. Na záver podávam zhrnutie svojich poznatkov.This diploma thesis deals with the system of payments in Czech republic but also on the international level. System of payments is a pecuniary reliationship between the payer and the payee, which is realized in certain forms agreed by instruments of payments either directly by and between them or by means of the given subjects. Pursuant to the means of payment we can divide the system of payments to cash and cashless. Thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to fundamental terms of system of payments. The second chapter is dealing with cashless forms of payments and their division. The third chapter analyzes cash form of payment, its legal regulation and topic of notes and coins. The fourth chapter is dedicated to method of payments in Czech republic and European Union. At the end I´m presenting the outcomes of my research in this area.
