Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kognitivní teorií metafor a jejím využití v oblasti politiky. Cíl práce představuje posouzení možnosti užití Lakoffova politického modelu "přísného otce" a "pečujících rodičů", který je charakteristický spíše pro americké politické prostředí, také v rámci německé, resp. berlínské politiky. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní principy kognitivní teorie metafor a její využití v politické řeči. Dále je vysvětlen Lakoffův model "přísného otce" a "pečujících rodičů". Praktickou část tvoří porovnání volebních programů dvou německých politických stran SPD a FDP pro volby do berlínského parlamentu v roce 2011. Pomocí kognitivní teorie metafor je analyzovaná oblast "Bezpečnost", která má určující hodnotu pro posouzení, zda je možné aplikovat Lakoffův model i v berlínské politice.The bachelor thesis discusses the cognitive theory of metaphor, exploring its application to politics. The aim is to assess the possibilities of Lakoff's Strict Father Model and Nurturant Parent Model - which are more suitable for American politics - in the context of German, or more precisely, Berlin politics. The theoretical part describes basic principles of the cognitive theory of metaphor, its use in the language of politics, and Lakoff's Strict Father Model and Nurturant Parent Model. The practical part consists of comparing election manifestos of two German parties, SPD and FDP, for the 2011 Berlin state election. Using the cognitive theory of metaphor, an analysis of the respective "Security" sections determines whether Lakoff's models can be applied to Berlin politics.
