Práce zkoumá překlad vlastních jmen z angličtiny do češtiny v rámci literatury fantasy. Na základě konkrétních příkladů z vybrané literatury dělí vlastní jména do skupin podle společných překladatelských postupů. Zároveň porovnává míru ekvivalence vlastních jmen v překladu s jejich protějšky z originálu.The paper studies the translation of proper names form English to Czech within the fantasy literature. Based on the examples from the selected literature, it divides the names into groups according to the used translation methods. At the same time it compares the equivalence of original and translated names.
