Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi a způsoby zvládání stárnutí a stáří, pohledem jednotlivých generací dospívajících, dospělých a seniorů. První dvě teoretické kapitoly rozebírají jednotlivé etapy lidského života. Uvádí několik demografic-kých a statistických údajů a pohled na historii rodiny a její současnost. Popisují intergenerační vztahy, vzájemnou podporu a pomoc v rodinách, ze strany přátel, blízkého okolí i sociálních služeb. Zamýšlí se nad aktivitami a životním stylem seniorů, nad vztahem společnosti ke stárnoucím a starým lidem a nad jejich vnímáním vlastního konce života. Třetí kapitola analyzuje výpovědi respondentů a vytváří shrnutí a celkový obraz pohledu několika generací.This thesis deals with the possibilities of aging and ways of coping with aging and old age, as seen by various generations of adolescents, adults and seniors. The first two theoretical chapters discuss the various stages of human life. It shows several demographic and statistical data and a look at history of a family in general and its present state. It describes the intergenerational relationships, mutual support and assistance of friends, close neighborhood and social services. It reflects the activities and lifestyle of seniors, the relationship of the society to aging and elderly people and their perception of the end of their life. The third chapter analyzes the testimony of respondents and creates summary and the whole picture per-spective of several generations.
