Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jaké formy aktivizačních činností nabízejí uživatelům vybrané domovy pro seniory a nakolik aktivizace ovlivňuje kvalitu života seniorů v domově pro seniory. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy: stárnutí, stáří, domovy pro seniory, aktivizační činnosti. Ve výzkumné části je stanovena hlavní výzkumná otázka, je zvolen typ výzkumu, popsána metodologie, následuje interpretace a analýza získaných dat a odpověď na výzkumnou otázku.The aim of diploma thesis was to find out which forms of activation activities offer selected homes for the elderly to users and how much does the activation influence the quality of senior's life in the home for the elderly. In the theoretical part are defined the main concepts: aging, age, homes for the elderly, activation activities. In the research part is determinated the main research question, is chosen the type of the research, described the metodology followed by the interpretation of earned datas and the answer for research question.
