Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou výživy ve stáří. V teoretické části je popsán současný stav seniorů žijících v pobytových zařízeních, specifika příjmu potravy seniorů i poruchy zdraví, které se u seniorů nejčastěji vyskytují v souvislosti s nepřiměřeným stravováním. Rovněž je zde rozebrána problematika stravování v domovech pro seniory. Prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl prováděn za pomocí Screeningového dotazníku malnutrice CV FTN, byli v oblasti výživy zmapováni klienti Domova seniorů Hranice. Práce klade důraz na nezastupitelnou úlohu odborné nutriční péče v pobytových zařízeních určených pro seniory.This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of nutrition in the senior age. The theoretical part contains present number of senior people living in the residential facilities, also the specifics of thein food intake and health disorders that occur with the senior people as a result of inadequate eating habits. The issue of eating habits in the homes for the elderly is analysed there as well. Through the quantitative research done with the Screening questionnaire of malnutrition from CV FTN, the clients of the Domov seniorů Hranice (Home for the Elderly Hranice) were tested in the field of nutrition. This thesis puts emphasis on the irreplaceable role of the expert nutrition care in the residential facilities for the senior people.
