Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá životem Lady Emmy Hamiltonové. Cílem práce je prokázat, či vyvrátit důležitost Lady Hamiltonové na vývoj událostí v Neapolském království na přelomu 18. a 19. století, dále zjistit míru vlivu na skutky a rozhodnutí vlivných mužů, kterými se obklopovala. Ze studia dobové korespondence pak vyplývá, že Lady Hamiltonová byla významnou a vlivnou osobností, avšak neovlivňovala události přímo, ale nepřímo skrze svůj vliv na mocné muže.This thesis is concerned about the life of Lady Emma Hamilton. The goal of this thesis is to give an insight on the size of the importance of Emma and her influence on the course of events in The Kingdom of Naples in 18./19. century and also find out the influence she had on the decisions and behaviour of the men surrounding her. By studying sources like correspondence and biographies, I figured out that Emma's importance was great, but not direct, because she influenced the events indirectly by influencing powerful men around her.
