Ve své práci se věnuji překladu odborného technického textu. Práce se skládá z překladu technického textu z oblasti telekomunikačních technologií a teoretické části týkající se tohoto překladu. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na specifika odborného textu a z nich vyplývajících specifik překladu. Hlavním okruhem, kterým se zabývám, je terminologie, se kterou se v technickém textu setkáme vždy. Zaměřuji se na metody překladu terminologie. Tyto postupy jsem doložila na konkrétních příkladech z překládaného textu.In my thesis, I focus on the translation of technical text. My work consists of two parts. One part is an actual translation of a text from the area of telecommunication technology, the second part is theoretical and it deals with this translation. In the theoretical part, I focus on the specific features of non-fiction texts and also the specific problems of translating such texts. The main area that I am concerned with is terminology, which is present in every non-fiction text. I focus mainly on the methods of terminology translation. These methods are illustrated on specific examples from the translated text itself.
