Tato práce pojednává o člověku, smyslu života a smrti, strachu ze smrti. Vymezuje základní termíny smrt a umírání, zabývá se rolí sociálního procovníka v této oblasti. Dále se práce zaměřuje na antropologii smrti - tradice, zvyklositi, pověry, sny o smrti atd. Práce obsahuje zkušenosti lidí, kteří prošli klinickou smrtí a poznakty známých osobností, kteří se touto problematikou zabývají.This work is about people, the meaning of life and death and fear of death. It defines the basic terms of death and dying and it is about part of social worker in this sphere. Also it is intent on the anthropology of death - tradition, customs, superstition. This work containts experience of people who pass the clinical death and also information of famous people who inquire into this problem.
