Teoretická část je literární předlohou k danému tématu. V praktické části jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumného šetření prováděného během března 2010 u žen na oddělení šestinedělí Uherskohradišťské nemocnice. Výsledky výzkumného šetření jsou shrnuty v diskuzi a závěru práce. Významným výsledkem práce je velká důležitost osoby porodní asistentky pro ženu v průběhu těhotenství a porodu, na které se shodly společně všechny respondentky.. -- Abstract: The work concetrates on finding factors which influence childbirth, informedness of women in childbed during pregnancy and childbirth itself. The theoretical part is a leterary pattern of the given theme. In the practical part there is a summarization of the results of an exploratory investigation realized during March 2010 among women on of childbed in Uherské Hradiště hospital. The outcomes of the exploratory investigation are summarized in the discussion and conlusion of the work. The significant outcome of the work is the great importance of a person of a midwife for a woman during her pregnancy and childbirth on which all the respondents have agreed.
