Způsob, jakým česká média prezentují problematiku genderu a ženských témat, je často kritizován ze strany odborníků nejen u nás ale i ve světě. Média často tíhnou k distribuci stereotypů o ženách a mužích, které svět rozdělují na mužský a ženský s jasně definovanými okruhy zájmů a problémů Cílem této bakalářské práce je nejen provedení analýzy Deníku Právo: Nezávislé noviny, ale hlavně vyhodnocení vývoje způsobu zpracování ženských témat a jejich četnost v Právu za posledních deset let. Bude provedena komplexní analýza dvou časových období, od 1. srpna 1998 do 31. července 1999, a následně od 1. srpna 2008 do 31. července 2009. Spolu s publikovanými texty se bude zkoumat i obrazový materiál. Bakalářská práce je členěna na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, jako je gender, genderové stereotypy, generické maskulinum, genderová lingvistika, feminismus a political correct. Krátce jsou zde zmíněni někteří autoři a autorky, kteří se v minulosti zabývali problematikou genderevé lingvistiky. Tato část se také věnuje odhalení a přiblížení některých genderových klišé v mediálních textech. Praktická část nastiňuje průběh dvou ročních analýz Deníku Právo a následné zhodnocení a porovnání výsledků z hlediska obsahu a jazykové stánky textů. Praktická část se zaměřuje také na analýzu obrazového materiálu. Pro větší názornost jsou výsledky doplněny grafy a tabulkami. V závěru práce jsou provedené rozbory srovnány. Na základě porovnání je upozorněno na to, že redaktoři a redaktorky se problematice genderu věnují víc, než tomu bylo v minulosti. Bohužel, tento zájem je pouze povrchní a nesystematický. Navíc deník Právo svým obsahem často přispívá k posilování i utváření nových genderových stereopytů.Czech media are often preached for the ways they present a gender. According to these critics, they tend to distribute stereotypes about women and men and, divide the world into two groups, male and female, with the typical ranges of the interests. A few studies concerning the role of women in Czech media has been published since 1995. Based on these analyses, we can suggest that the situation in this matter has changed because, today's media pay more attention to the gender then it was in the past. There are several problems related to this conclusion. Analyses usually do not cover the problem comprehensively and in global and, they deal with a short period only. Therefore, the conclusion is based on the comparison of narrow sighted unrelated analyses. The most progressive work was Klara Zelenkova's thesis MF Dnes about Women. Zeleková traced problem in complex and her theories are based on a sophisticated methodology. The goal of this work is to carry out similar analyses and to valorize the manner the women has been presented in Journal Právo: Independent Newspaper during ten years period. Two analyses were realized - from 1st August, 1998 to 31st July, 1999 and, from 1st August, 2008 to 31st July, 2009. Published texts together with a visual material were part of the analyses. Thesis is composed of two parts - theoretical and practical. Fundamental terms are explained in the theoretical part, such as gender, gender stereotypes, gender linguistic, and feminism and politically correct. Some other authors working with the problems of gender are mentioned there too. Finally, an accurate description of the most common gender stereotypes in media plays an important role in this part. In practical part, a description of two analyses can be found. The results are presented together with graphs and description. Subsequently, they are critically overviewed and compared. Based on this comparison, we can say that the today?s journalists do pay more attention to the gender then in the past. Unfortunately, their interest is mostly superficial and discontinuous. In addition, the content of Právo Independent Newspaper support and even constitute gender stereotypes.
