Spa Karlova Studánka is situated 800 m above sea level on the east side of the highest mountain of Moravia- Praděd. The spa was founded in 1875. Beautiful nature, pure climate, mineral water and peat belong to the natural resources. This bachelor thesis deals with the history of spa, indication of diseases, which are treated there (diseases of the respiratory system, oncology diseases), description of the spa treatment, spiritual needs of the patients and cultural activities in the spa area. The result of the spa treatment is given at the end of the bachelor thesis.
