Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem sportu a tělovýchovy ve městě Velká Bystřice. Je zde zmapován pohled do historie, postupný vývoj, ale také současný přehled sportovních a tělovýchovných činností a organizací. Kromě historie města Velká Bystřice je zde zmínka o různých sportovních odvětvích, která měla velký význam pro společenské vyžití ve městě. Především se jedná o házenou, volejbal, fotbal a hokej. V tomto směru však měly nezastupitelnou roli také tělovýchovné organizace, tzn. Sokol, Orel a DTJ. Historie těchto sportovních a tělovýchovných organizací byla bezesporu velmi pestrá a bohatá, ne všechny však svou činnost zachovaly dodnes. Zmapování vývoje sportu a tělovýchovy ve městě Velká Bystřice je klíčovým bodem této diplomové práce.My thesis is interested in development of sport and physical training in Velká Bystřice. Here is charted a view to the past and a gradual development but also contemporary summary of sport and gym activities and clubs. Except the history of the town Velká Bystřice I have also mentioned a different sport divisions which have had a big importance for a social self-realization in the town. First of all it is handball, volleyball, football and hockey. In this direction the significant status have had organizations named Sokol, Orel and DTJ. History of these organizations is very interesting and rich but not all works to the present. The key word of my thesis is summary of sport and physical training in Velká Bystřice.
