Tato práce se zabývá životními příběhy dnešních otců. V teoretické části práce mapuje formování role otců v rovině identity, ale také z biologického, historického a společenského hlediska. Teoretická část rovněž popisuje jednu ze současných velmi častých podob otcovství, rozvedené otce. Věnuje se rovněž základům narativní konstrukce, jejím kategoriím a utváření příběhu. Výzkumná část si klade za cíl uchopit příběhy čtyř dnešních otců, kteří musí vynaložit úsilí, aby se setkávali se svými dětmi, brání-li po rozvodu manželka styku s nimi. Druhou skupinu tvoří čtyři muži, kteří o vztah k dítěti zápasit nemusí, zato je životní okolnosti donutily postarat se o ně sami. V příbězích bylo sledováno životní téma, ztvárnění jednání a základní zápletky. V obsahově analytické části byla pomocí metody zachycení vzorců hledána sdílená témata příběhů.This graduation theses describes the stories of contemporary fathers. Theoretical part of theses deals with the theme of fatherhood from the point of identity, from its psychological, biological, historical and sociological angle. The theory is also focuse on divorced fathers asi one of contemporary images of fatherhood. Last but not least the theroretical part analyses individual cathegories of narrative construction. The aim of the second part based on research procedures is to handle the stories of four contemporary fathers. They have to fight to continue thein relationship to their child because their wife obstructs thein contacts. Second group consists of four men who don?t have to fight for relationship to thein child. Bud the life course forced them to take care of their children, they didn?t have any choice. Stories were focused on the life theme, narrative tone and figures. Subject analyses deals with common themes and patterns in all of the stories.
