Předmětem diplomové práce je pochopit dětství a dospívání dětí. Opírá se o vybraná témata, která s tímto přímo souvisí - rodina, vrstevníci, dospělí, generační rozdíly, média a také určitý životní styl člověka. Cílem práce jsou výsledky získané na základě empirického výzkumu, který popisuje současné vnímání dospělých z pozice dětí, kdy jsou děti chápány jako specifická subkultura s vlastním životním stylem a kdy je tato subkultura sociálně konstruovaná kategorie.The main aim of this diploma thesis is understanding of childhood and growing up. The thesis insists on chosen topics which are directly linked with it - family, peers, adults, generation differences, media and also human specific life style. The goal of this thesis is to determine results based the empirical research which describes recent perception of adults from the position of children. The children are perceived as specific subculture with their own life style and this subculture is taken as socially built category.
