Práce je rozdělena na sedm kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje pojem editorial, druhá kapitola představí zkoumaný materiál. V následujících pěti kapitolách je editorial analyzován z těchto kritérií: autor, grafická úprava, oslovení, tematika, užité jazykové prostředky. Závěrečná zjištění shrnují poznatky o rozdílech charakteristických prvků editorialu v těchto dvou typech společenských časopisů.. -- Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to anylyze characteristic means of language used to make editorials in social magazines intended for the broad public and in social magazines intended for femine audience and the differences between these two types of editorials. This thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapted defines the editorial as a concept, the second chapter introduces the subject matter. The following five chapters analyze it using the following criteria: author, graphic design, form of addressing, themes, means of language. Conclusion summarizes findings on the differences of characteristic elements of editorials in these two types of social magazines.
