The objective of the thesis is to identify ways of experiencing managerial functions in the public health sector by women and to cover their reflections of possible role conflicts. The thesis is based on Merton?s theory of harmonization within role and status sets with regard to the gender dimension. The empirical research was carried out within the qualitative strategy by means of non-structured interviews of the sample of 10 top managers-women in the public health sector, contacted by means of the snowball technique. The final outcomes are reinterpreted as identified needs of andragogical intervention.
