Měření probíhalo v menstruační fázi cyklu a v periovulační fázi cyklu, kterou probandky rozpoznaly pomocí LH testovacích proužků. Hodnoceny byly rozdíly v momentech sil hlezenního, kolenního a kyčelního kloubu. Statisticky významné změny momentů sil v kloubech mezi jednotlivými měřeními byly detekovány zejména v kolenním a kyčelním kloubu. The aim of this thesis was to assess the effect of different phases of the menstrual cycle on gait performance in women. The parameters evaluated were the moments of forces in the joints of the lower limbs. Eighteen women, aged between 20 and 27 years, with regular and pain-free menstrual cycles participated in the study. The theoretical part of the thesis contains knowledge about the course of the menstrual cycle and hormones that affect it. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes the gait cycle and its management. The last part is a theoretical description of methods of biomechanical analysis of gait. Before the actual measurements, the probands' medical history was taken to detect exclusion criteria and a briefing on the whole research was given. As part of the measurements, probands completed ten natural gait trials in a marked area. Two Kistler piezoelectric platforms were used to obtain dynamic parameters. Measurements were taken during the menstrual phase of the cycle and the periovulatory phase of the cycle, which probands recognized using LH test strips. Differences in the moments of the forces of the ankle, knee and hip joints were evaluated. Statistically significant changes in joint moments of force between measurements were detected especially in the knee and hip joints.
