Bakalářská práce představuje analýzu české LGBTQ+ young adult literatury, která vyšla v období 2015-2020, v porovnání s vybranou tematikou, motivy a postavami v angloamerické tvorbě. Řešena je problematika žánrového zařazení LGBTQ+ YA spolu s jejím cílovým čtenářem a častými tématy. Pozornost je věnována především roli coming outu, tedy přiznání se k odlišné sexuální orientaci, a postavám rodičů, u nichž je předpokládáno negativní založení. Práce se nadále zabývá tematizací šikany a milostných vztahů a zkoumá přítomnost dalších LGBTQ+ postav ve vybraných dílech.This bachelor thesis presents the analysis of the Czech LGBTQ+ YA literature in comparison with the Anglo-American literature published from 2015 to 2020, especially in their work with motifs, themes and characters typical for this type of literature. It deals with the problematic definition of the LGBTQ+ YA genre along with its target audience and common themes. The main aim is to analyze the theme of coming out, i.e. admitting one's sexual orientation, and the parent characters who are assumed to represent the negative approach towards the child's sexuality. The thesis also deals with the portrayal of bullying and relationships, and explores the presence of other LGBTQ+ characters in the considered novels.
