Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem hipoterapie na psychiatrické pacienty v Psychiatrické nemocnici Bohnice. V teoretické části je uvedeno základní vymezení hipoterapie v psychologii a psychiatrii (HTP), specifikace koní, terapeutů a klientů v HTP. Popisujeme zde také mechanismus účinku HTP a náročnost jejího provozování. Krátce se věnujeme také historii hiporehabilitace v českých zemích. Praktická část práce byla kvalitativního rázu. Naším cílem bylo zjistit, co účastníci výzkumu považují na HTP za subjektivně nejpřínosnější, zda a jak se mění jejich emocionalita, jak se cítí v doteku s koněm a také, zda má HTP vliv na jejich psychiatrické obtíže. Zdrojem dat nám byly především rozhovory s devíti pacienty z doléčovacího a závislostního oddělení PNB, dále pozorování jejich hipoterapií a u některých také informace z lékařských karet. Data byla zpracována metodou zakotvené teorie a jejím výstupem byly především výsledky jednotlivých případů a tematická analýza, věnující se nejčastěji se objevujícím trsům témat v rozhovorech s pacienty. Těmi byly mindfulness, zklidnění a uvolnění, komunikace s koněm a samotný popis hipoterapie.The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of hippotherapy on psychiatric patients in Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital. In the theoretical part the basic definition of hippotherapy in psychology and psychiatry (HTP), specification of horses, therapists and clients in HTP are presented. We also describe the mechanism of action of HTP and the complexity of its practice. We also briefly discuss the history of hippotherapy in the Czech lands. The practical part of the thesis was qualitative. Our aim was to find out what participants find most subjectively beneficial about HTP, whether and how their emotionality changes, how they feel in contact with the horse and also whether HTP has an effect on their psychiatric difficulties. Our data sources were mainly interviews with nine patients from the PNB's aftercare and addiction ward, as well as observations of their hippotherapy sessions and, for some, information from their medical charts. The data were processed using the grounded theory method and the output was mainly the results of the individual case studies and thematic analysis, addressing the most frequently occurring clusters of themes in the patient interviews. These were mindfulness, calming and relaxation, communication with the horse and the description of hippotherapy itself.
