Cílem této diplomové práce je zkoumání vzájemného vztahu mezi strachem z kriminality a kriminalitou samotnou na příkladu statutárního města Olomouc. K tomuto jsou využita data z mapové aplikace Policie ČR a výsledky výzkumu PocitovéMapy.cz. Dále je na stejném území časově a prostorově analyzován strach ze zločinu, na základě čehož jsou stanoveny oblasti, ve kterých lidé pociťují větší míru strachu. Díky poznatkům z teoretické části jsou poté určeny ty lokality, v nichž by příčinou vzniku strachu ze zločinu mohlo být fyzické prostředí. Závěrem práce jsou poté navrženy úpravy tohoto prostředí pro co nejefektivnější prevenci strachu ze zločinu.The aim of this thesis is to investigate the mutual relationship between fear of crime and crime itself using the example of the statutory city of Olomouc. For this, data from the map application of the Police of the Czech Republic and the results of research PocitovéMapy.cz are used. Furthermore, the fear of crime is analyzed temporally and spatially in the same territory, based on which the areas in which people feel a greater degree of fear are determined. Thanks to the findings from the theoretical part, the localities in which the fear of crime could be caused by the physical environment are then determined. At the conclusion of the work, adjustments to this environment are proposed for the most effective prevention of fear of crime.
