Diplomová práce se zabývá povědomím logopedů a spánkových center o možnosti využití myofunkční terapie jako terapie obstrukční spánkové apnoe v České republice. Dělí se na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část práce obsahuje detailní charakteristiku (terminologie, etiologie, symptomatologie, sekundární důsledky, diagnostika a terapie) obstrukční spánkové apnoe i myofunkční terapie a přehled dosavadních poznatků o efektivitě myofunkční terapie v terapii obstrukční spánkové apnoe. Praktická část práce je koncipována jako výzkum kvantitativního charakteru, jehož hlavní výzkumnou metodou jsou dvě dotazníková šetření administrovaná náhodně vybraným logopedům a zvlášť spánkovým centrům. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zjistit jaké mají povědomí logopedi a spánkový centra o možnosti využití myofunkční terapie jako terapie obstrukční spánkové apnoe, a případně povědomí zvýšit pomocí osvětového materiálu, jež je součástí práce.The diploma thesis deals with the awareness of speech therapists and sleep centres about the possibilities of using myofunctional therapy as a therapy for obstructive sleep apnea in the Czech Republic. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis contains detailed characteristics (terminology, etiology, symptomatology, secondary consequences, diagnosis and therapy) of obstructive sleep apnea and myofunctional therapy and an overview of current knowledge about the effectiveness of myofunctional therapy as a treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. The practical part of the work is conceived as research of a quantitative nature, whose main collection method are two questionnaire surveys administered to randomly selected speech therapists and sleep centers. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to find out about the awareness of speech therapists and sleep centers of the possibilities of using myofunctional therapy as a therapy for obstructive sleep apnea in the Czech Republic and if there is a need to increase awareness with educational materials, which are part of this work.
