The master thesis deals with the potential impact of Great Britain´s withdrawal from the EU (Brexit) on the stability of the Northern Ireland region. The thesis characterizes in brief the region´s development after the Second World War but the emphasis lies in the analysis of the post-Brexit evolution. It contains a digest of the peace Belfast Agreement and the survey of the influence of the Withdrawal Agreement negotiated between Great Britain and the EU. Special focus is on the Protocol on Northern Ireland. The main state and non-state actors and their standpoints after Brexit are interpreted. It is summarized that the possibility to detach the Brexit´s impact in the instable region with many variables is rather limited.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá potenciálním dopadem odchodu Velké Británie z EU (Brexit) na stabilitu regionu Severního Irska. Práce stručně charakterizuje vývoj regionu po druhé světové válce, avšak její těžiště leží ve sledování po-brexitového vývoje. Práce obsahuje analýzu mírové smlouvy Belfast Agreement a zkoumání jejího možného ovlivnění tzv. Withdrwal Agreement, jež byla sjednána mezi Velkou Británií a EU. Speciální pozornost je věnována taktéž Protokolu o Severním Irsku. Práce dále interpretuje po-brexitové postoje klíčových státních a nestátních aktérů. Lze ovšem předpokládat, že je velmi náročné vyčlenit vliv Brexitu z komplexně nestabilní situace v regionu.
