El tema de este trabajo fin de máster es el estudio comparativo de la figura femenina en las novelas Entre visillos de Carmen Martín Gaite y Cinco horas con Mario de Miguel Delibes. La parte teórica se dedica a la introducción del contexto sociocultural de la posguerra y la posición de la mujer. En la mitad de la parte teórica se introduce la teoría literaria, la ideología, estructura simbólica y la teoría de la recepción. Al final de esta parte se describen los rasgos de la novela de la posguerra: entre el realismo y experimentación. Esta parte teórica sirve para mayor conocimiento que se enfoca en la segunda parte, es decir, en la parte práctica. La segunda parte del trabajo se ocupa del análisis de las novelas Entre visillos de Carmen Martín Gaite y Cinco horas con Mario de Miguel Delibes enfocándose en las figuras femeninas y en el espacio simbólico. El análisis termina con la comparación de las semejanzas y diferencias temáticas y estructurales en la representación de los personajes femeninos de Entre visillos y Cinco horas con Mario.The topic of this thesis is a comparative study of female character in novels Entre visillos by Carmen Martín Gaite and Cinco horas con Mario by Miguel Delibes. Theoretical part of thesis is dedicated to the introduction of the socio-cultural context and the position of the woman. This part of thesis continues with introduction of the literary theory, ideology, symbolic structure, and the theory of the reception. In final part is described the features of the post-war novel between realism and experimentation. This theoretical part is based on majority knowledge that will be included in the second practical part. The second part of this thesis is based on analysis of the novels Entre visillos by Carmen Martín Gaite and Cinco horas con Mario by Miguel Delibes and the research is focused on the figures of woman and the symbolic space. In the end of analysis is a comparison of similarities and differences thematic and structural in the representation of the figures of women in the Entre visillos y Cinco horas con Mario.
