Hlavním výzkumným cílem této práce bylo zjistit, zda partnerská komunikace skrze sociální sítě ovlivňuje partnerskou spokojenost. Konkrétně nás zajímalo, jestli interakce formou instant messagingu, geograficky blízkým partnerským vztahům prospívá nebo je poškozuje. Teoretická část přináší vysvětlení základních pojmů a vhled do dané problematiky. Tento jev byl zkoumán kvantitativně, pomocí elektronického dotazníku. V empirické části jsme uvedli charakteristiky výzkumného souboru získaných metodou samovýběru a částečně formou sněhové koule. K měření partnerské spokojenosti byla použita škála CSI a ke zjištění partnerské komunikace skrze sociální sítě dotazník vlastní tvorby. Statistické hypotézy jsme ověřovali pomocí Spermanova korelačního koeficientu a mnohonásobné lineární regrese. Byly prokázány významné souvislosti mezi muži a ženami v daných párech, co se týká partnerské spokojenosti i partnerské komunikace skrze sociální sítě. Nepodařilo se nám prokázat, že by partnerská komunikace skrze sociální sítě byla významným prediktorem partnerské spokojenosti.The main research aim of this thesis was to discover if partners communication via social networks influences couple satisfaction. We are especially interested in whether the interaction through instant messaging is beneficial or harmful for geographically close partners. The theoretical part provides an explanation of basic concepts and insight into the issue. This phenomenon was investigated quantitatively using an electronic questionnaire. In the research part we introduced the characteristics of the research group obtained from the method of self-selection and partly in the form of a snowball. The CSI scale was used to measure partner satisfaction and a questionnaire created by author of this thesis was used to analyse couple communication via social networks. We verified statistical hypotheses using Sperman´s correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression. There was a significant correlation between men and women in the couples with regard to couple satisfaction and partner communication via social networks. We could not prove that partner communication through social networks was a significant predictor of couple satisfaction.
