Dále pak zkoumat interakce imidazolového derivátu [6]helicenu s DNA pomocí elektroforetických, spektrálních a elektrochemických metod.Helical polyaromates are ortho-condensed chiral molecules. They are currently used for the construction of chemosensors and organic electronics. Thanks to their ability to stereoselectively direct reactions, they can be used in asymmetric catalysis. It is known that these molecules specifically interact with DNA and proteins, which can result in novel biological activities or toxic effects. This work covers a search of current literature on the interactions of helical polyaromates with biopolymers. Furthermore, the interactions of the imidazole derivative of [6]helicene with DNA by means of electrophoretic, spectral and electrochemical methods are also described.
