Znalost projevů a příčin strachu u pacientů s akutním infarktem myokardu posiluje kvalitu a efektivitu ošetřovatelské péče. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat hodnocení prožívání strachu u pacientů s akutním infarktem myokardu. Výzkumné šetření je zpracováno formou kvalitativního výzkumu za použití výzkumné metody polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Teoretická část práce seznamuje čtenáře s dohledanými publikovanými poznatky zabývajícími se hodnocením prožívání strachu a dalších emocí u pacientů s infarktem myokardu od akutní fáze onemocnění až po rekonvalescenci a návrat do běžného života. Základem empirické části je identifikace a bližší specifikace projevů a příčin strachu u pacientů s akutním infarktem myokardu na základě informací získaných od samotných pacientů a všeobecných sester pečujících o tyto pacienty. Na základě výsledků výzkumného šetření byla vymezena dvě základní témata z oblasti projevů strachu, a to projevy tělesné a psychické. Příčiny strachu byly identifikovány několika oblastmi, a to strachem ze smrti, ze sociálních důsledků, z rekurekce onemocnění a faktory souvisejícími s hospitalizací.Knowledge of the sings and causes of fear in patients with acute myocardial infarction enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing care. The aim of the thesis is to describe the evaluation of the experience of fear in patients with acute myocardial infarction. The research is based on qualitative research using the semi-structured interview method. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the reader with the searched published knowledge dealing with the evaluation of experiencing fear and other emotions in patients with myocardial infarction from the acute phase of the disease to convalescence and return to normal life. The empirical part is based on the identification and specification of the manifestations and causes of fear in patients with acute myocardial infarction based on information obtained from patients themselves and nurses attending to these patients. On the basis of the results of the research, two basic topics from the field of fear manifestations were defined: the physical and psychological. The causes of fear have been identified by several areas, fear of death, social consequences, disease recurrence, and hospitalization-related factors.
