Teoretická část uvádí několik informací o autorovi a o jeho díle. Zmiňuje i politický a společenský kontext doby, ve které bylo dílo napsané. Věnuje se teorii překladu s důrazem na teorii překladu komiksu. V praktické části se nachází samotný překlad 124 stripů z komiksu Mafalda 1 a komentář, kde jsou popsány problémy, které se při překladu vyskytly.. -- Abstract: This Bachelor´s thesis deals with comics translation. It is divided into two parts a theoretical and a practical one. The former part introduces the author and gives a brief overview of his work. The theoretical part also presents the social-political and historical context of the period in which the comics was written. It focuses on the theory of translation, especially on the translation theories of comics translation. The practical part consists of a translation. The practical part consists of a translation of 124 comic strips, taken from the comics Mafalda 1, including a commentary highlighting the difficulties which the author of this thesis encountered during the actual translation.
