Práce analyzuje vývoj Hongkongu od 50.let 20.století. Od této doby se Hongkong ekonomicky nejvíce rozvíjí. Práce je zaměřena především na dobu po předání Hongkongu zpět pod čínskou vládu. Analyzuje pětileté úseky po předání a na základě zjištěných dat vyhodnocuje jednotlivá období. Zaměřuje se na ekonomické ukazatele jako HDP, zaměstnanost, import, export, investice a inflace. Cílem této práce je analyzovat jednotlivé pětiletky od roku předání pod správu Číny a na základě nich predikovat možný budoucí vývoj. Práce obsahuje stručný popis historie a základní údaje o Hongkongu. Poté již samotnou analýzu jednotlivých pětiletých úseků. V jednotlivých obdobích je také zanalyzováno, jak se Hongkong dokázal vypořádat se všemi krizemi, co zasáhly globální ekonomiku. Tato práce analyzuje, díky čemu se mu podařilo krize zvládnout. Ale také poukazuje na slabé stránky Hongkongu jako je například vztah s Čínou.The thesis follows the development of Hong Kong since the middle of the 20th century. From this time, the economic advance of Hong Kong is noticeable at most. The text is mainly focused on the time period after the handover of Hong Kong back under the Chinese sovereignty. Based on the given data it probes into and evaluates each five-year periods. It focuses on economic indicators such as GDP, employment, import, export, investment and inflation. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the various five-year plans since the handover under the Chinese administration and based on them to predict possible future developments. The thesis contains a brief description of the history and basic information about Hong Kong. After that follows the actual analysis of the five-year periods. Furthersome, in various periods the analysis covers, how and by which means Hong Kong was able to cope with all the global economic crises. It also points out the weaknesses of Hong Kong, such as the ambivalent relationship with China.
