Tato magisterská práce se zabývá poskytnutím kardiopulmonální resuscitace pomocí automatizovaného externího defibrilátoru jednotkami požární ochrany Hasičského záchranného sboru Jihomoravského kraje. Dotazníkový průzkumu se soustředil na úroveň vzdělání příslušníků jednotek požární ochrany Hasičského záchranného sboru Jihomoravského kraje v problematice poskytování kardiopulmonální resuscitace s užitím přístroje automatizovaného externího defibrilátoru, kolik příslušníků se ve své praxi setkalo s kardiopulmonální resuscitací a použitím automatizovaného externího defibrilátoru, kolik jich bylo proškoleno, jakou formou a jak často v použití. Dále, zda příslušníci hodnotí četnost školení za dostatečné, jak hodnotí svůj postup při provádění kardiopulmonální resuscitace a své znalosti v této problematice. Na závěr dotazníkový průzkum mapoval, zda mají zájem se příslušníci jednotek požární ochrany Hasičského záchranného sboru Jihomoravského kraje zdokonalit v těchto oblastech. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo formou dotazníku šetření na 22 požárních stanicích jednotek požární ochrany Hasičského záchranného sboru Jihomoravského kraje. Dotazník obsahoval celkem 25 položek, které byly rozděleny do několika kategorií.In its first part the Master thesis deals with providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation by using an automated external defibrillator by fire service units of the fire department 'HZS JMK'. A questionnaire in the second part of the thesis is focused on the members of the fire service units of the 'HZS JMK' and the level of education in the area of providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation by using an automated external defibrillator, especially how many fire service units' members have been confronted with cardiopulmonary resuscitation or using a defibrillator in practise, how many of them have been professionally trained and by using which methods and finally how often they had an opportunity to use a defibrillator in practise while training. The next part of the research answers questions such as training frequency, whether or not it is considered to be sufficient for respondents or how they evaluate their performance while using an automated external defibrillator and also how they evaluate their global knowledge and skills of this area. The last part of the questionnaire is monitoring whether or not the fire service units' members are interested in improving themselves in the field of providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation by using an automated external defibrillator. The questionnaire research, consisting of twenty five items which have been devided to specific categories was taken place on the twenty two fire stations.
