Tato práce si klade za cíl analyzovat výskyt čínských idiomů (tzv. cheng yu) v čínských telenovelách (tzv. dian shi ju ) . Výsledným výstupem této frekvenční analýzy bude vypracování statistiky obsahující informace o celkovém počtu idiomů, jejich zasazení do kontextu, jejich překlad a pozadí, případný opakovaný výskyt idiomů a rovněž nejčastěji vyskytovaný idiom. Jako lingvistický korpus bude zvolena první série čínské telenovely Diamantový milenec (Kela lianren), která čítá 68 dílů. Teoretická část práce se bude zabývat fenoménem čínského idiomu jako takového a bude jej definovat. Rovněž bude definován zvolený korpus k analýze, čínská telenovela, a to všeobecně čínská podoba telenovely a konkrétně zvolená telenovela Diamantový milenec. Praktická část poté přistoupí k samotné analýze. Metoda zvolená k analýze bude poslech a následné zaznamenávání použitých idiomů. Tyto idiomy budou zasazeny do kontextu v rámci příběhu telenovely. Získané informace poté budou sloužit k provedení statistického shrnutí a sepsání závěru.The thesEs aims to analyse the frequency of Chinese idioms (chengyu) in Chinese telenovela genre (dianshiju). The result of this analysis is set to contain the information about the total number of idioms that occured in the chosen text, their position in context, their translation and their background, even their possible repetitive occurence and the most frequented idiom. As linguistic corpus we chose the first series of Chinese telenovela Diamond Lover (Kela lianren), this series is composed of 68 episodes. The theoretic part of the theses will treat the phenomenon of chinese idiom itself and will provide the definition of this phenomenon. This part will also treat our chosen corpus, chinese drama, i.e. its form in general and our particular chosen drama Diamond Lover. The pragmatic part will proceed to the analysis itself. The method we chose to perform the analysis is listening followed by recording the idioms. These idioms will be put into context of the plot of our telenovela. The results will serve to perform the statistics and to write the conclusion.
