Diplomová práce pojednává o problematice integrace osob s mentálním postižením do přirozeného prostředí komunity. Teoretická část podává ucelený přehled o dané problematice. Komplexně seznamuje s potenciálními příčinami odmítání lidí s mentálním postižením intaktní společností. V tomto kontextu se zaměřuje na termíny, jako jsou normy, konformita, xenofobie, stigma, předsudky a stereotypy, mýty, informovanost, zkušenosti a v neposlední řadě sociodemografické determinanty. Dále poskytuje stručný přehled o transformaci Domova pro osoby se zdravotním postižením Zašová. Informuje o jejím průběhu a úskalích, s kterými se zařízení během tohoto procesu potýkalo. Empirická část popisuje výzkumné šetření, které bylo realizováno prostřednictvím dotazníku a mapuje současný stav dané problematiky. S odstupem času zjišťuje důvody, které vedly obyvatele města Zubří k odmítnutí výstavby komunitní sociální služby pro osoby s mentálním postižením a prezentuje jejich názory na danou problematiku.The thesis discusses the issue of the integration of people with intellectual disability into the common environment - community. The theoretical part gives a comprehensive overview of the subject. It comprehensively introduces the potential causes of the rejection of people with intellectual disabilities by the intact society. In this context, we are focusing on terms such as norms, conformity, xenophobia, stigma, prejudices and stereotypes, myths, awareness, experience, and last but not least various socio-demographic determinants. The thesis also provides a brief overview of the transformation of the Home for people with disabilities Zašová, describes the whole process and addresses it's difficulties. The empirical part describes the research which was carried out through questionnaires and surveys the current state of the issue. With hindsight, the thesis identifies the reasons that led the population of Zubří to reject the construction of community social services for people with mental disabilities and presents their views on the issue.
