Předmětem práce je zjistit a popsat algoritmy pro výpočet elementárních funkcí. Konkrétně pomocí Taylorových polynomů spočítat hodnoty funkce arctg(x) a jejich následné použití pro výpočet hodnot sinus a kosinus pomocí algoritmu CORDIC. Práce je obohacena o výpočty v MATLABu.The object is to find and describe algorithms for computing elementary functions. Specifically, using Taylor polynomials to calculate the value of the function arctan(x) and their subsequent use for the calculation of sine and cosine using the CORDIC algorithm. The work is enriched by the calculations in MATLAB.
