Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá historickým narativem v českém literárním prostředí, jeho tradicí a hlavně jeho současným stavem, konkrétně v období mezi lety 2000-2010. Teoreticky vychází z prací Blahoslava Dokoupila, Lubomíra Doležela, Lubomíra Machaly a Nialla Fergusona. Na základě teoretických poznatků zmíněných i dalších autorů se v první řadě zabývá vymezením pojmů historického narativu, historického románu a dalších subkategorií žánru. Následuje stručné shrnutí vývoje českého historického románu od doby meziválečné do konce devadesátých let. Poté se práce zaměřuje na analýzy konkrétních děl autorů tvořících ve vymezeném období a vymezeném žánru. Nastíněna je také aktuální problematika pojetí dějin jako možností, alternativ v duchu postmodernismu a historického relativismu a důsledky tohoto pojetí nejen, ale hlavně pro historickou prózu.This thesis deals with the historical narrative in Czech literary environment, its traditions and especially its current state, particularly in the period between 2000-2010. Thesis are thoretically based on the work Blahoslava Dokoupil, Lubomir Dolezel, Lubomir Machala and Niall Ferguson. Based on theoretical findings and those and other authors are primarily concerned with defining the concepts of historical narrative, historical novel and the other sub-categories of the genre. The following is a brief summary of the development of Czech historical novel from the interwar period in the late nineties. Then, the paper focuses on the analysis of specific works of authors in forming a limited period and defined the genre. Also shown is the current issue of the concept of history as the possibilities of alternatives in the spirit of postmodernism and historical relativism and the implications of this concept only, but mainly for historical fiction.
