Engelbrecht. -- Ved. práce Bas Hamers. -- Abstract: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá leteckou katastrofou na ostrově Tenerife. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První kapitola detailně popisuje samotný průběh nehody, co katastrofě předcházelo, jaké byly její následky. Dále se práce zabývá vyšetřováním a zjišťuje řetězec událostí, které k této nehodě vedly. Druhá část se zaměřuje na odraz události v tehdejším tisku. Tato kapitola analyzuje a porovnává články z nizozemských novin a zjišťuje, na co se nejvíce zaměřovaly. Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s největší leteckou katastrofou v dějinách a poukázat na to, jak se událost projevila v tehdejším tisku.. -- Abstract: This thesis concentrates on the airplane accident on the island of Tenerife. It is divided into two parts. The first part describes in detail the process of the accident itself, what preceded the disaster and what its consequences were. Further, the thesis deals with the investigation and finds a chain of events that led to this accident. The second part is focused on the reflection of the event in the daily press. This chapter analyses and compares articles of the Dutch newspapers and it tries to find out, in context of the accident, what was the most focus of newspapers. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the reader with the biggest air disaster in history and to point out, how was this event showed in the daily press.
