Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou románu Stefana Heyma Zpráva o Králi Davidovi (Der König David Bericht), konkrétně porovnáním biblické předlohy s jejím literárním přepracováním. Cílem práce je tedy porovnat rozdíly románového zpracování a biblické předlohy. Teoretická část je souhrnem autorova života a věnuje se také nejrelevantnějším interpretacím díla, jimiž jsou kritika stalinismu a touha po moci. Jazyková i stylistická stránka románu je popsána v druhé kapitole, která svým obsahem spadá, jak do teoretické, tak do praktické části této práce. Praktickou část tvoří věcná analýza několika příběhů, jejichž přímou paralelu je možné najít v bibli. Jejich srovnání má určující hodnotu v otázce, jak dalece se román liší od ?biblické reality.?This bachelor thesis analyses and compares the biblical pattern with its literary adaptation in Stefan Heym?s novel The King David Report (Der König David Bericht). The aim is to find out how far identifies the adaptation with the original. In theoretical part could be found a summary of author?s life and it presents the novel?s most relevant interpretations which is Stalinism critique an longing for power. In the second chapter is stylistic and linguistic structure of the novel described. It is a crucial for both parts of thesis. The practical part includes/ contain the analysis of several stories with a direct parallel to the Bible. The comparison answer the question how different is the novel from the ?biblical reality.?
