První část práce je věnována teoretické studii některých základních sociokulturních pojmů jako je kultura, subkultura či městská komunita a také podrobně popisuje historii skateboardingu nejdříve ve světě, poté ve Španělsku a konkrétně Seville. Její praktická část se zabývá především analýzou pěti literárních děl, jejichž ústředním motivem je subkultura skateboardingu. Tato díla jsou dále konfrontována s výpověďmi celkem dvanácti skateboardistů. Dotazníky a práce v terénu reprezentují realitu sevillské subkultury skateboardingu, která je porovnávána s realitou literárních postav ve španělské fikci.. -- Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to find out to what extent the Spanish fiction corresponds to the reality of the capital city of Andalusia. The first part of this work focuses on a theoretical study of basic sociocultural concepts which are culture, subculture or urban tribe. A detailed description of the evolution of skateboarding in the Word, Spain and specifically in Seville is provided. The practical part of the work deals with the analysis of five books whose principal motive is the skateboarding subculture. These books are then confronted with the responses of twelve skateboarders in total. The questionnaires and the fieldwork together represent the reality of the Sevillian skateboarding subculture which is compared to the reality of the literary characters in the Spanish fiction.
