Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou pozice Sněmovny lordů v britském politickém systému. Cílem práce je zhodnotit, jak byly pravomoci postupně formovány reformami a jak se sněmovna postupně měnila v rámci svého složení. V práci jsou postupně analyzovány jednotlivé projevy pravomocí a zásahy do legislativy ze strany Sněmovny lordů. Dále je také analyzována proměna vzájemného vztahu Dolní sněmovny a Sněmovny lordů.This bachelor thesis is concerned with the analysis of the position of the House of Lords in the british political system. The aim of the thesis is to find out how were the powers gradually formed by the reforms and how the chambre changed in the meaning of its structure. In the thesis are analysed the particular manifestation of powers and forming of the legislature by the House of Lords. There is also analysed the change of the interrelationship of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
