The work concerns the possibilities and suitability of different ionization mass spectrometric techniques to the study of archaeological artefacts. The practical part was focused on the analysis of fumric acid (one of markers of the presence of wine in old containers) and a product of dehydration of malic acid (one of important acids in wine). Two ionization techniques, electrospray and probe ASAP, were tested. Combination of ion mobility and mass spectrometry was used too.
