Tato práce se zaměřuje na resocializační praktiky v organizaci Nová Šance, která se primárně věnuje vězňům po opuštění výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce jsou objasněny základní pojmy socializace, resocializace a postpenitenciární péče. V teoretické části je také uveden stručný přehled sociálních zařízení na Ostravsku, s důrazem na Novou Šanci. Klíčovou částí této práce je kvalitativní výzkum, který byl prováděn v areálu Nové Šance, a to především pomocí rozhovorů s jejími klienty. Cílem mé práce je popsat, jak klienti vnímají resocializační praktiky v Nové Šanci svým vlastním pohledem.This work focuses on rehabilitation practices in the organization of Nová Šance, which is primarily concentrated on prisoners after leaving prison. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts of socialization, rehabilitation and post-penitentiary care. The theoretical section also provides a brief overview of social facilities in the city, with an emphasis on Nová Šance. A key part of this thesis is a qualitative research, which was conducted within Nová Šance, primarily through interviews with their clients. The aim of my work is to describe how clients perceive rehabilitation practices in Nová Šance out of their own perspective.
