Diplomová práce zkoumá, jaké vizuální prvky jsou použity v titulu Mladá fronta Dnes ve třech časových sondách v letech 1990, 2000 a 2010 a jak se proměňuje vizuální podoba listu s ohledem na vzájemné pusobení tradičních a nových médii. Práce vychází z teorie vizuální konvergence tištených a online médií uvedené ve studii Lynn Cooke. Za užití metody zakotvené teorie je vytvořena typologie vizuálních prvku v novinách a s využitím triangulace pomocí obsahové analýzy jsou pak deskriptivne popsány projevy vizuálních prvku v daných časových náhledech. Práce upozorňuje na důležitost zkoumání vizuální stránky mediálních sdělení v současném na obraz orientovaném světě.This diploma thesis is concerned with the usage of visual elements in daily newspaper Mladá fronta Dnes. The analysis is broken down by decade, beginning in 1990 and ending in 2010. The focus of this thesis is the change of visual elements and structural layout with considering mutual influence between traditional and new media. The study is based on the theory of visual convergence of print and online media described in the work of Lynn Cooke. Using the grounded theory author describes the typology of visual elements in newspaper. Content analysis is used as an additional method. Author also describes the changes in usage of visual elements over the time and highlights the importance of media visual analysis in this image oriented world.
