Na magické myšlení pohlíží z úhlu kulturní antropologie a psychologie; čerpá rovněž z běžné populaci dostupné esoterické literatury. Objasňuje základní principy, dává je do souvislosti s moderní fyzikou, teorií synchronicity, transpersonální psychologií a psychosomatikou. V závěrečné kapitole se pokouší o psychologickou interpretaci výsledků magických operací. Praktická část je věnována experimentálnímu potvrzení magického myšlení v dospělé populaci relativně vyspělé země.. -- Abstract: The these deals with magical thinking in relation to the knowledge of modern science. It is concerned with magical thinking from the angle of cultural anthropology and psychology and draws from the esoteric literature available to general population. It explains basic principles, puts them into context with modern physics, theory of synchronicity, transpersonal psychology and psychosomatics. The final chapter attempts a psychological interpretation of the results of magical operations. The practical part is devoted to experimental confirmation of magical thinking in the adult population of relatively advanced nation.
