Práce je zaměřena na možnosti aktivizace seniorů z pohledu speciální pedagogiky. Konkrétně se orientuje na aktivizaci jedinců v domovech pro seniory. Teoretická část se nejdříve věnuje obecným poznatkům o stárnutí a stáří, základním pojmům a problémům týkajících se stáří. Dále pak změnám během stárnutí, potřebám seniorů, systému sociálních služeb určených seniorům a možnostem jejich aktivizace. Praktická část práce je orientována na šetření zaměřené na užitečnost a dostatečnost aktivizačních činností v domově pro seniory. Je zde popsán cíl šetření, metoda sběru dat a charakterizováno výzkumné prostředí a výzkumný vzorek. Práce je zakončena analýzou získaných dat a interpretací výsledků šetření.The work is focuses on the possibility of activating the elderly from the perspective of special pedagogy. Specifically, it focuses on the activation of individuals in homes for the elderly. The theoretical part begin dedicate the general knowledge about ageing and old age, the basic concepts and problems with old age. Afterwards, it pursues change during ageing, the needs of seniors, social service system for seniors and their activation capabilities. The practical part is focused on usefulness and adequacy of activation activities in the home for the elderly. There is described objective investigation, method of data collection and describe research environment and research sample. The work ends with data analysis and interpretation of survey results.
