Tato práce nabízí srovnání dvou románů magického realismu, konkrétně problematiky prostoru v obou příbězích. Srovnávaná díla jsou román Pedro Páramo mexického spisovatele Juana Rulfa a román Sto roků samoty kolumbijského držitele Nobelovy ceny Gabriela Garcíi Márqueze. V práci se věnuji i přítomnosti mýtu v těchto dvou dílech hispanoamerické literatury, jelikož mýtus je považován za základní kámen magického realismu.This bachelor thesis presents a comparison of two novels of the genre magic realism, in concrete the comparison of the space in both narrations. The compared books are Pedro Páramo by Mexican writer Juan Rulfo and One Hundred years of Solitude by a Colombian Nobel Prize-holder Gabriel García Márquez. In my work, I also dedicate one chapter to the presence of a myth in both novels, as the myth is a basic concept of the magic realism.
